The day before?
PART OF OUR DAILY TRAVEL JOURNAL
AUGUST 16th - PREPARATION
This should have been the day before, as we planned to leave on the 17th. However, last week we got the phone call we were expecting! Let go of the outcome, and see what happens.
I had a wonderful chat with a lady at the Lynk&Co team who told me that we can pick up our blue shiny 01 next week! That's some exciting news!
This is what our focus and visualization excercises of the last weeks brought us, I guess. Well, I'm ready for more. Bring it on!
Anyway, we've decided to postpone our trip and leave a week later, and get to know our new 01 a bit before the long trip. The perspective of traveling with it makes it even more fantastic. Now it really feels like the moment to dot the i's and cross the t's!
WHERE WE ARE NOW
We're at home, preparing and building up excitement for the upcoming week before we leave....
Every day we set intentions. Not only in the morning, we do it through the day for each new 'segment', also when we go to sleep. We've learned about 'segment intending' from Abraham & Esther Hicks.
Writing down our intentions for the day becomes a part of the morning routine. It makes us more aware and gives us a good tool to reflect and see if our experiences were as we intened.
It can be simple things or bigger, that doesn't matter. General intentions can be how you want to feel during/after a certain period of time, how happy and satisfied you will be with the outcome.
Only get more specific when something special is coming up that you want to focus on.
We'll reflect on yesterday's intentions on a daily basis. That's our intention.
MASTER KEY SYSTEM
Our mutual study project at the moment. We've already been on it for a couple of months now, and we'll keep this great project going during our trip. We created this special post on this topic to write about the lessons and insights.
One of our favorite musical artists is Hugh Laurie. He was half of the comic duo Fry&Laurie in the 80's and 90's, and more recently he played the character of Dr.House in the series House.
OK, to the point. He's a great musician and singer too! We first discovered this video and started finding more of his music. The collaboration with Sir Tom Jones on 'Please make a change' is a super energetic experience!
